Intro to Challenges
The Challenges System is a formal addition to the game that offers the player the chance to make use of both their new and enhanced Parkour Skills that they have obtained as well as demonstrating how well they have embraced those skills - and can make practical use of them.
Basically it is a Collection of scenario based challenges intended to showcase and to celebrate your mastery of the game play mechanics in Dying Light!
You will find the challenges scattered throughout the zones, each having an icon on the map that depicts the type of challenge with three stars under it. There are two basic challenge types: Power Challenges and Agility Challenges.
Each challenge regardless of type has two to three stages with the primary strategy being for the player to beat the challenger either in their time or in the numbers targeted for each action or event.
Power Challenges: have weapons as their icon - a crossed Knife and Hatchet with three stars under them.
Agility Challenges: have for their icon a Running Man and the three stars.
Each of the Challenges has its own set up and mini-story - and it can be entertaining to hear them out before you begin on the challenge so why don't you go ahead and indulge yourself in listening to the narrative as it unfolds?
