Spoils of War

This quest starts after completing Tactical Thinking, or starting Mass Fusion by talking to Allie Filmore in the Institute then choosing to inform the Brotherhood. Take note that once you board the Vertibird, the quest Mass Fusion will fail and you'll become enemies of the Institute. If X6-88 is with you, he'll drop off to Boston Airport and will stay there, combating the BoS forces below. This will also start the quest “Banished from the Institute”.

Once you reached the Mass Fusion Building, the Mass Fusion Executive Suite will also be discovered as a new location. You'll encounter several synths on the rooftop. Clear them out as much as you can then drop off.

To operate the elevator, you have to find an ID card first. Search the desk on the upper floor to find the Mass Fusion Executive Lab Password and Mass Fusion Executive ID. Access the lab nearby and use the terminal. Read the first intra-mail entry to learn the location of the agitator. You can also find the Oslow's Office Recording holotape in the same room. Now go to the elevator down, swipe the ID c ard and ride it down to the building interior.

While going down on the elevator, you'll have to destroy all synths that will appear to stop you. After an explosion, the elevator will stop and you'll have to work on restoring Power to the elevator. Head to the NW corner of this floor to find the Mass Fusion Labs Key and an Expert Developer's Terminal. The terminal has the option to restore power. In the same floor, you'll also find an armor and weapon workbench.

If you can't hack the terminal, there's a circuit breaker on the room directly above. Beside that room with the circuit breaker is an Expert safe. Once Power is restored, ride the elevator again to reach the main lobby of the building. Once you've reached the main lobby, head to the NE to find the elevator leading to the Main Reactor.

Once you've reached the main reactor, talk to Proctor Ingram and tell her that you don't have any radiation protection to receive two Rad-Xs. When ready, equip the Hazmat Suit and use Rad-X (they can be found in the rooms and the locker room by the restroom near the elevator). Go to the decontamination room to the SW and push the red button. Head inside the reactor, get to the controls and unlock it. Grab the Berylium Agitator then leave the reactor chamber. Proceed to the decontamination chamber then eliminate the sentry bot, assaultrons, and sentry bots. Once done, head to the elevator and leave the reactor.

Upon leaving the reactor, there will be more synths that will be teleported in the lobby. Your BoS allies will be fighting here as well. Provide support and eliminate all the synths. Once done, leave the building and return to the airport. Talk to Proctor Ingram to complete the quest. After completing this quest, Ad Victoriam and Form Ranks will become available
