Powering Up

Talk to Father to update this quest and to get the announcement script. Interact with the mic and select the options you want to be announced in your script. Once done, talk to Father then travel to Diamond City. Head to DCR and get the necessary Radior Parts to boost the transmitter. Install the parts in the following order:

• 'Radio thing with the buttons' - left.
• 'Radio thing with dials' - center
• 'Radio thing with the tubes' right

Once done, travel to The Institute and go to the Advanced Systems division then through the reactor room. Talk to Father then enter the reactor core. Place the agitator inside then start the startup sequence from the nearby terminal.

Leave the reactor and head to the board meeting. Once the meeting has concluded, if you have the Railroad quest “Underground Undercover” active, a synth messenger will arrive and talk to you in a coded message. Find Z1-14 and talk to him to learn about the latest intel.
