Red Mage
Job Command and Support Abilities
- W&B Magic Level 1: Enables the use of level 1 white magic and black magic: Cure, Aero, Fire, and Blizzard.
- W&B Magic Level 2: Enables the use of level 2 white magic and black magic: Esuna, Raise, Thunder, and Aspir.
- Turn Tables: BP +1 when evading an enemy attack.
- W&B Magic Level 3: Enables the use of level 3 white magic and black magic: Cura, Aerora, Fira, and Blizzara.
- BP Recover: BP +1 when afflicted with a status ailment.
- W&B Magic Level 4: Enables the use of level 4 white magic and black magic: Curada, Esunaga, Thundara, and Drain.
- Revenge: Have a 25% chance to gain 1 BP upon taking damage.
- Revival: Has a 75% chance of BP +2 when your HP is below 20%.
- MP Free in a Pinch: Reduces MP cost for spells to zero when your HP is below 20%.
- In the Red: Raise damage dealt by magic spells when BP is negative.
Thief
Job Command and Support Abilities
- Steal: Steal an item from target enemy with a 50% chance of success.
- Steal Breath: Attack the enemy and recover HP equal to the damage you dealt.
- Mug: Attack the enemy and have a 50% chance of stealing an item in the process.
- Steal Mind: Attack the enemy and recover MP equal to the damage you dealt.
- Speed +20%: Raise speed by 20%.
- Dagger Lore: Raise Dagger proficiency to S.
- Godspeed Strike: Unleash an attack that substitutes speed for P.ATK and ignores the target's P.DEF.
- Big Bad Burglar: Raise P.ATK by 25% when stealing an item from an enemy or recovering HP or MP with Steal Breath or Steal Mind
- Rob Blind: When stealing, obtain two items instead of one.
- Shake Down: Steal an item from all enemies with a 50% success rate for each.
Summoner
Job Command and Support Abilities
- Summoning Level 1: Enables the use of level 1 summoning: Hresvelgr and Deus Ex.
- Summoning Level 2: Enables the use of level 2 summoning: Ziusudra's Sin and Promethean Fire.
- Summon Substitute: When you get KO'd., a random summoning spell that you have learned is invoked without consuming any MP.
- MP +20%: Raise maximum MP by 20%.
- Summoning Level 3: Enables the use of level 3 summoning: Girtablulu and Charybdis.
- Convert MP: Recover MP equal to 5% of damage taken.
- Summon in Pinch: When your HP falls to critical, a summoning spell you have learned is randomly invoked without consuming any MP.
- Summoning Amp: Increases both the MP cost and damage dealt by summoning spells by a factor of x1.25.
- Summoning Level 4: Enables the use of level 4 summoning: Amaterasu and Susano-o.
- Summoning Surge: Each time summon magic is used in combat, damage dealt is increased by a factor of x1.1.
Swordmaster
Job Command and Support Abilities
- Nothing Ventured: Triggers at start of turn. If hit by a physical attack during the turn this ability is used, halves the damage you sustain and counterattacks with double the damage of a conventional attack. Also greatly increases your chance of being targeted by foes.
- Katana Lore: Raise katana proficiency to S.
- Squeaky Wheel: Reduce the target's BP by one.
- Multitask: Have a 33% chance to follow up with an additional attack when making a conventional attack.
- Counter: Have a 60% chance to counterattack when taking a single-target physical attack. Does damage to a single target equal to a conventional attack.
- Before Swine: Triggers at start of turn. If hit by a magic attack during the turn this ability is used, halves the damage you sustain and counterattacks for three times the damage of a conventional attack.
- Counter Amp: Raise the damage dealt by counterattacks to 1.5 times.
- The Worm Turns: Triggers at start of turn. If hit by an enemy attack when your HP is below 20% of maximum, counterattack for 7.5 times the damage of a conventional attack.
- Redoubled Effort: The higher your BP, the more the power of your physical attacks rises.
- Free Lunch: Spells you cast will consume no MP for two turns.
Catmancer
Job Command and Support Abilities
- Catmancy: Consumes cat food items to wield abilities learned from your foes.
- Catnap: Have a 50% chance of putting each of your enemies to sleep.
- Attack Items Amp: Raise the damage dealt by attack items to 1.5 times.
- Dig: Dig for cat food items in battle.
- Mislead: Lower your chances of being targeted by enemies to the lowest level possible.
- Learning: Learn certain enemy abilities when they are used against you.Only one party member needs to have Learning equipped for all to benefit from its effect.
- Whisker Sense: Get the jump on enemies, increasing the party's chance of gaining first strike or scoring a Brave Attack by 5%.
- Cat Mastery: Consumes cat food items to wield abilities learned from your foes.
- HP +20%: Raise maximum HP by 20%.
- Purrfect Stance: Raise your P.Def and M.Def to their maximum values for 10 turns.
Hawkeye
Job Command and Support Abilities
- Sidewinder: Unleash a powerful physical attack on all selected enemies.
- Maverick: Unleash a powerful physical attack against the enemy with the lowest HP at the end of the current turn.
- Warhead: Imbue your weapon with the element of your choice, increasing the damage it deals by an amount equal to the spell's power, as augmented by your M.ATK.
- Condor: Enhance your physical attacks so their damage is not mitigated by the Default state, and instead deals 1.5 times normal damage to Defaulting foes.
- Harpoon: Enhance your physical attacks to ignore the target's P.DEF.
- Barrage: The damage you deal will rise with the number of offensive actions taken in a given turn.
- Eagle Eye: Increase accuracy by 100%.
- Sparrow: Strike the target with a magical attack based on the P.ATK rating of your right-handed weapon.
- Rifle Lore: Raise rifle proficiency to S.
- Shrike: Fire a bullet into the air that will come down to strike your target the following turn.
