The most important thing you need to remember when controlling the little polar bear is your ability to adjust his speed. This is achieved by pressing slide (R1) to give him a burst of speed and allow any following jump to travel further whilst pressing down on the D-Pad will reduce his speed slightly allowing you more time to smash tricky crates.
