It's Christmas day to all Fable fans - as the game Fable Fortune yet again grants you to summon one of Albion's finest warriors to fight your battles.
In the game, you have 6 Heroes to choose from - each of which has their own facets and play-style effective when played especially in-tandem with (hero) specific cards. Not limited to this, you may also complete quests with your Hero to define their destiny much like that of the RPG's Alignment System, where setting them down the path of either Good or Evil enables them to earn two different underlying abilities (whichever path you choose to take).
MARSHALL THE KNIGHT
The Marshall Knight is keen on tossing around a number of feeble units (which are easier to summon with theri minimal cost) and makes up with his skills and spells to keep them alive in the battlefield. Not limited to this, a generous amount of buffing spells and special unit abilities can transform this unassuming horde into a deadly force to be reckoned with.
MIRACLE THE ALCHEMIST
The Alchemist's strength lies in its wide collection of magic spells that can manipulate the Stats of its Units as well as those of its opponent's. Interchanging one's Strength and Health, tossing up confusion on the opponent, and practically using your opponent's strengths as their weaknesses, the Alchemist is truly a terrifying Hero to confront when it is played with the right combination of cards.
CRIMSON THE SHAPESHIFTER
The Shapeshifter is one sneaky hero hungry for blood. Steadily summoning regular units on the battlefield to defend her, her true aim is to dish out as much direct damage as possible with her Rending abilities, while at the same time rendering additional passive buffs to her units at play.
BARTER THE MERCHANT
The Merchant’s primary strength lies on its abundance of the Gold resource (or at least how they can easily earn it). As one knows, the more Gold in this game's battle - equates to a wider range of choices for you to put into play. With this, the Hero easily gets to summon Harder to put down Units, cast powerful Spells early, or even Invest into cards to make them more powerful. It's just as they say it; money makes the world go round.
TEMPLE THE GRAVEDIGGER
The Gravedigger’s basic strategy is to lay down a horde of expendable Units (which are very cheap to summon) which she intentionally charges them into their destruction. The deal with these expendable horde she has is that they activate unique Eulogy abilities in the process - becoming the very nightmare of her opponents. A perfectly set and activated trap? One could not ask for more.
SAND THE PROPHET
The Prophet as one would guess, is focused on buffing his Units and make them as resilient as possible to outlast their opponents on the battlefield. Not limited to this, his assortments of healing abilities keeps him on his toes in every game.
