CRAFTING
As if the additional mechanics are not enough to spice up the card collecting game, Fable Fortune throws in a crafting system to left you make something out of those excess cards on your library.
Why craft cards?
Crafting is a feature that allows you to create any card using salvaged inks from excess cards on your library. Each Card costs a certain amount of ink, or items that you get from achieving quests, or upon winning them on special events.
Different cards requires a certain amount of Ink to craft, these values are:
Common: 40
Rare: 100
Epic: 300
Mythic: 600
Fabled: 1,600
INK & SALVAGING
Ink is mostly gained through salvaging other cards, although it may also be obtainable when participating on special events or rewarded on other means like accomplishing a quest. Salvaging a card requires you to own the card already, and can be accomplished by inspecting the card (by right-clicking) in your collection, choosing “Salvage”, and then selecting the number of that card you wish to salvage. Take caution as the game also salvages cards that might be included on your current Deck. Once you have salvaged a card, that card is gone forever, and in return, you are granted an equivalent amount of ink depending on its rarity.
The ink salvage value for card are as follows:
Common: 5
Rare: 10
Epic: 50
Mythic: 100
Fabled: 400
CRAFTING ITEMS
Crafting items are special resources to the crafting process, which can reduce the ink cost of crafting a card by at least 25% per item you have. Each card had 4 crafting items associated with it, which means if you have each of the required items to craft such card, you may not have to use ink at all to craft it. Alternatively, you can also put together ink and items to save up on crafting costs. Say for instance, if you have 2 of the required items to craft a specific card, you’ll have to pay only 50% its actual ink cost. Crafting items are mostly obtained from events, such as competing in the PVP Leagues, Hero League and Co-op Bosses.
