The "0%" values in the Specs below are the default values. This will change depending on the amount of points you allocate in a Spec.
The Apprentice relies on pure magical DPS to take on enemies. His towers and abilities are aimed to deal as much damage as possible. His normal attacks places "marks" on the enemies it hits while dealing damage. These marks are complemented by his Arcane Volley and Tornado abilities. His secondary attack can pierce through multiple enemies.
His offensive towers have the capability to deal splash damage. His basic offensive tower, the Flameburst Tower, does excellent damage in a group of enemies. When placed close to each other, the consecutive fire will make the magical fire projectile's splash damage even more effective. Devastating damage can also be attained if an allied Huntress douse the enemies with her Oil Flash ability. Interestingly enough, he has an excellent defensive tower called Arcane Barrier that blocks enemies. After losing 25% of its HP, it will explode and deal magical damage to the aggressor(s). The best thing about this tower is that it regenerates after a while, pushing enemies back.
The Apprentice's Specs are focused in improving his towers. However, the best Specs that he has is the Reduced Cooldown and Mage's Spec skills. More points spent on these Specs ensure that the Apprentice can use Tornado and Arcane Volley more frequently.
